Did not have the time to secure another shuttle/taxi service, as I always used Supershuttle and did not have another option. I was forced to drive to the airport and pay for long term parking. Made an appointment for a pick up at and TPA and they never showed up. There is no one at the desk and the person answering the phone was very rude and unhelpful. They couldn't provide a time for pick up even though 6 other picks up were made in that one. ended up taking Lyft Lux for the same cost and they picked up within 5 minutes of request.

SO when we see SS we think that it is our ride. No way. Three drivers came up and no one would assist us or contact the dispatcher. I arrived at 1:15 a.m., red eye from LA and did not get home until 3:30. There were two other parties also having problems. They were taken before me eventhough the last one called in AFTER I did. Tampa airport employee with security stopped and stayed with me until SS sent a private car to take me home. I am 76 years old and being the only passenger sitting outside waiting for a ride was very upsetting. You could not sit inside as if they didn't see you on the curb they would drive on. I must say the dispatcher was very polite and understanding. If it were not for him, I would probably still be sitting at the curb. On another note, airport employee stated that SS is not a reliable form of transporation. I was not the first one with issues and probably won't be the last one according to him. I don't know where the name of SS came from as the is NOTHING super about them.

Flight time of 6am. At 2:33 am today, I get a text from the “dispatcher” that “due to a shortage of vehicles this morning we do not have coverage for your pickup”. A grand total of one hour advance notice stating they weren’t coming! I mean aren’t you a shuttle transportation company?? Don’t you have numerous vehicles/drivers? You couldn’t juggle schedules around to accommodate your patrons? I work for a Fortune 500 company. Leaving a business traveler without a means to get to the airport causes an undue risk of lost employment. If I could award 0 stars I would do so. To all those road warriors thinking of using this service, do not bother. Their service stinks and they will eventually leave you hanging without a ride. It’s not worth the aggravation. Ask a friend or relative to drive you to the airport.

Today, after booking, the round-trip, came to $95.00, with all kinds of additional fees attached. When my wife called and we asked why the sudden spike in price, we were told that "the price can go up or down to "operational needs."" Not happy, and if you insist on operating THIS way, we will reverse OUR policy, and recommend to family and friends, NOT to do business with Super Shuttle.

We had a reservation which would assume you would have a driver for pickup..wrong reservations mean nothing and horrible customer service. We provided flight information so it would be known that our flight was delayed. We arrived Tampa and checked in around 12:20 am. We did automated check in and received confirmation back with client number. We were stranded for an hour at the airport with no driver. Called local dispatch twice. They were trying to get drivers to the airport but was told that drivers work independently and get to choose which pickups they want. Hard to believe when they drive Super Shuttle vehicles and we have a reservation. So basically save your time and book an Uber. Super Shuttle extremely disappointed in your lack of service. We arrived from an international flight traveling all day then to put up with this. We were not the only upset customers at Tampa airport. Customers beware.

Even after pre-paying for your ride and waiting for a long period of time don’t even count on getting the service if you have any sort of special needs like a child card seat. The company will not contact you until you are waiting for the shuttle for a while and that is when they will tell you that they cannot accommodate you. Tampa’s Airport supervisor – Lisa is extremely rude and uncooperative. I would highly recommend to stay away from Super Shuttle.

I liked the way they kept in touch with us throughout our stay as to times of pickup. I believe our driver’s name was Becky to the airport .. she was friendly and told us a little about the area. We will definitely use the service again!

We found the drivers to be very courteous, friendly, skilled, and very helpful. Supershuttle alerts via email and text were helpful and worked. The overall price for two people, 2 big luggage, and 2 backpacks was very good. We will use this service again in the near future.

Easy to use, reasonable...especially because I didn't have to drive in the highly congested area in Clearwater. The driver was very nice. He did his job well. I only waited a few minutes and the driver called my number. Good company!

I was assigned to a driver who was located in Zephyr Hills and he did not move quickly enough, so they assigned me to another driver. This driver never picked me up and my trip was quickly closed out as completed (without me getting picked up!!!) Its a horrible phone app to allow the drivers to do that to riders. I saw van drivers pull up, call a name, no one came and the driver moved on. Then it happened to me. No wonder they have to rent third party limo drivers to pick up the slack from their drivers that do not care about customers. Previous time it happened to me, the driver assigned to me bailed out on me (single customer) and then he picked up a three customer pool while I looked on in amazement, my driver calling out other customers and not me!. Two hours later, a custom limo picked us up. This method of operation is not correct or fair! Their phone app needs to post a phone number and a "help" feature as the phone signal in the blue pickup areas in TPA are not conducive to being on hold for very long (dropped calls a few times).

I can always depend on Super Shuttle to be timely, have a clean van, and the driver to be friendly. I'd pick Super Shuttle over Uber or Lyft any day because you know what you'll get. The second driver was scheduled to show up at 6:40 AM and didn't even bother to tell us he wasn't coming - we searched his location on the map and he was an hour and a half away when he was supposed to be picking us up.

And it's a very reasonably priced alternative. There's even a discount for AAA members, etc.!

United had to change both of my flights and which delayed my arrival home by 2 hours! I am extremely dissatisfied with Super Shuttle's service and will not use them again.

At 4:30, I get a call from the driver stating that the first passengers weren't ready yet and that he was going to be 20 minutes late to pick us up - so he would be there around 5pm. I expressed my concern about making to the airport on time as we had bags to check and GPS was saying it would take 1 hour 10 minutes to get to the airport from my house. He said it would be fine and he would be there by 5. At 4:50 I called him again to check the ETA and he said he was still at the other passenger's house which was 30 minutes away and that he would "hopefully be to us by 5:15/5:20". At this point, my faith in him was completely lost, as this was his 3rd time delaying his arrival. (The first was a voicemail saying he would arrive at the later end of our window). With traffic, there was no way, that even if he did arrive by this new time, that we would make our flight. After telling him this, he advised that I find another method of getting to the airport!! Luckily, my father had left me with his car keys, so we had to take his car. We arrived with barely enough time, and also incurred $58 in charges to leave his car at the airport. I have never had such an awful experience with any company. We took a chance on your company because the website says over and over "Door to door reliable service. A qualified, trained driver arrives during your pick-up window to guarantee an on-time drop off." None of these things were true for us. The driver was incompetent and IF he actually were to finally arrive, he would've been over ONE HOUR LATE. So what is this"guarantee" to arrive on time?! This driver could care less and obviously was not reliable or qualified, as he clearly had no idea how long the drive was to the airport from my father's house. I might not have been QUITE as upset as I am if when I called your customer service department they had displayed any level of professionalism or even apologized for the issue. The girl could also not care less, and there was nothing she could do for me - she couldn't even issue me a refund! I have to go through an online form - the poorest customer support I have ever received. And then, to top it all off, right before I boarded the plane, I get another message from Super Shuttle stating that "my driver arrived at my location and as I was not there, he had to leave without me". WHAT?!?!?! I called back and the dispatcher told me he heard from the driver that I was not there and so HE had to cancel the ride. I told the dispatcher the story and he tells me that he will have to talk to the driver again to verify the story. Again, WHAT?! I have all the evidence that I had to drive myself to airport, and he's telling me that he doesn't believe me? Wow. So many wows. He also tells me to fill out this form instead of being able to do anything. I sure my disappointment with this service is clear.

More than 90 minutes wait pickup for service at the air port is unacceptable. Then the biggest surprise we had 4 stops to make, which meant the whole trip from the airport to my hotel in Clearwater from Tampa airport took over 3.5 hours, which is just too long at the end of day. If you are wheelchair bound, the service handled the woman in our ride very well and accommodating. Due to the length of service from airport I cannot recommend this outfit at least for the Tampa spot. I cancelled my return trip and am using a rental car one wayer instead even though it is price. Time is money, and Super Shuttle wasted too much of my time.
Posted by Randal on 03 March 18 on GoogleWe had a 9:40 pick up time for a 12 noon flight. Our driver was a very nice man but did NOT plan his route accordingly. He had three different stops to make. He was 10 minutes early to pick us up, picked the next person up who was ready and waiting, then drove about 3 miles towards the airport. From there things went downhill! The driver said his iPad wasn’t working and he wasn’t going in the right direction. We had to turn around and backtrack way past our hotel in a lot of traffic, then wait 10-15 minutes for the person he was picking up. We proceeded to hit every red light on the way to the freeway. Encountered crawling traffic on the freeway on the way to the airport. Finally got to the airport at 11:10, an hour and forty minutes after he picked us up! I was with my aging parents and had to push my mom in a wheelchair and my dad is a slow walker with a cane. Luckily check in wasn’t crowded nor security as we would have missed our flight. By the time we got to the gate they had already put people in wheelchairs on the plane. We didn’t have a chance to relax, get something to eat as we were flying on Southwest nor even go to the bathroom. A very nice relaxing trip ended VERY STRESSFUL because of this service. Will not take the chance again to have this happen, not worth it when there are more reliable alternatives! You take a big risk to have everything go according to plan! After reading some of the other reviews I would say we were probably fortunate!

I got a text on 12/22/2017 confirming I would be picked up at 5AM the next morning for a flight to Hawaii for the holidays. I was sitting outside waiting for the shuttle when I get a call AT 5AM SAYING WE CAN'T PICK YOU UP WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH DRIVERS! THE PERSON ACTUALLY SAID SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT THE NIGHT BEFORE. ARE YOU KIDDING? Then they had the gall to still assume they were giving me a ride home on the return I had booked. I canceled that and still haven't got a refund. Do yourself a favor, UBER it.

I could write a novel about the nightmare of a time we had with SuperShuttle in Tampa, but in short: they lost the address we were to be picked up at and it took 3 phone calls to "fix" the situation, they were extremely difficult to contact, and they were so late to pick us up that we ended up having to pay for a different shuttle service to take us to the airport so that we didn't miss our flight. Looking at other reviews, I would say those who had good experiences are the minority. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Find someone reliable.

Guess what Melissa decided to override computer and assigned van to somebody else as we were getting ready to get on the van. When we called she said she manually assigned and if we want we can find another alternate way to go home at 3AM or wait another 30 -45 Mts! how rude! 2AM is when we got to Tampa and is the reason we booked as well! So if they did not want to run business at that time, Why are they taking reservations? Melissa who will not give her supervisor needs to be fired! Hope the call is recorded! I was tired but was not rude to her

We had a round trip reservation booked in advance. Also, I am currently using a manual scooter for a broken leg. The driver refused to pick me up at the handicap ramp. He was unapologetic, stating that it is his rules.

He said very inflammatory statements about Muslims and Mexicans and that immigrants should not be allowed in U.S. I should never be subjected to this type of view as a paying client for transportation. I do not know if this company prides themselves on demeaning immigrants and Muslims and condones their drivers to openly tell their clients This. This was very disturbing and alarming.

This guy was passing on the right, on a two lane road, there was a pedestrian walking in the bike lane, who had to RUN into the grass to avoid getting hit. We Seriously stopped and confronted the driver and he jumped in the van saying “ I don’t know what you’re talking about” NICE JOB SUPER SHUTTLE.

However they have always been an hour late after I have landed and done the online check in service. They cost the same as an Uber or Lyft and the airport always has them. Needless to say we will never use them again.

Then, while I was in a meeting, received another email saying the shuttle had been cancelled. I did not cancel it. My husband was on a plane, so he did not cancel it. He ended up being about two hours late getting home, SuperShuttle charged me $30.60 AND charged him the same thing and did not give me a refund. I cannot get anyone to respond to my requests and when I called the 800#, I was told the only way I can deal with getting a refund is online. That is horrible customer service. I would not recommend using this service to anyone. You are better off calling an Uber.

It was bad enough when the van driver, who picked me up at a hotel in St. Pete Beach and dropped me off at Tampa airport, "misplaced" my carry on bag that was stored in the back of the van. When we got to my airline, it wasn't there and she "didn't know what happened to it". There was just one other person in the van, and he got off at a different airline a short ride away. To make a long story short, I called the hotel to see if the driver somehow left my bag at the loading area. I went home without my bag. I immediately contact customer service via several methods and was told that someone would get back to me. Meanwhile, I contacted the hotel security office who ran the video tape confirming that my bag was loaded into the van, and who suggested I call airport lost and found. Sure enough, the driver unloaded my bag as well as the other passenger's bag at his airline. He picked up his bag, and the driver left mine in the road! I called SuperShuttle to let them know that my bag was in lost and found, and I wanted to speak to someone about returning it. This began a series of my repeated phone calls, text messages, and emails to so called customer service. In the meantime, I had someone pick up my bag from lost and found, so it wouldn't sit there. I asked SuperShuttle for the return of my bag, or ride credits to equal to cost of return. I continually followed up, and finally posted a negative review on Facebook. Someone promised to review it. I was told, too bad, they're not responsible. I posted on Twitter and someone promised to contact the supervisor. I was again told, nastily, by the same supervisor that it wasn't their problem, I would get a refund for the cost of my ride. Case closed. Period. My bag is still in Florida until the next time I go to visit. Never, ever use SuperShuttle.

Your trust factor as a service is poor at best. A, for taking a reservation and the promising of a service…F for holding, honoring and delivering the service.
Posted by Robert Reed on 21 March 17 on GoogleOur driver drove us to our address given be the rental agent, only to find the number of condo and street name did not match; he was kind enough to drive us around and find our rented condo and to ensure our safe arrival which was evening and very dark. He had only lived in the Tampa area for six months after arriving from New York................. so nice to see 'service above self' which is a dying art! P.S. the fare was also very competitive always a great start to ones vacation.
