Booking my shuttle was quick and easy. Received a phone message morning of departure letting me know when the driver would arrive. On the other hand my return booking was cancelled without any communication from Super Shuttle. I only discovered this when I got a notice of a refund from my credit card company 48 hours before arriving home. If I had not gotten the refund notice I wouldn’t have discovered the cancellation till the day I traveled. I had to scramble at the last minute to secure transportation home from the airport. I will not use Super Shuttle in the future nor will I recommend to my friends and family.

Reminder to check your receipt because if you reserve through the app or website, a tip is included in the charges. This actually makes it more convenient for me.

He said I could try and find alternate transportation or wait and see if a driver becomes available. It was late!I waited it out for a while with my daughters on benches and ground,exhausted, and was about to try and call two Ubers due to how much luggage we had when I got a call they found a van. Sent in a complaint on their online form and 6 days later a response said that no where in their terms does it say a van would be waiting for me (I did not claim that). They said they could offer me a 25% off next trip. I think a partial refund is more appropriate. I might be looking for other companies next time or go back to what I usually do which is park at the airport but really did not want to drive at midnight. There staff are very nice and professional. They help you with your luggage. Cannot recommend them enough. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

The website and app is super user-friendly. If necessary, cancelling a scheduled pickup is easy. I don't have to worry about bothering a friend, roommate, or neighbor to take me to and from the airport, or leaving my car in an airport garage accumulating excessive fees, especially if your trip has to be extended due to unforeseen circumstances. Also unlike many who opt for uber or lyft, I feel very safe and comfortable using SuperShuttle compared to having an independent contractor who may have a different agenda than taking you to your desired destination or who start to verbally attack you for no apparent reason. SuperShuttle drivers keep it professional and do make small talk with you when you initiate it. Their vehicles are nice, clean, and kept cool which is nice when it's hot. I also believe that their vehicles are equipped with camera recorders. Overall, it has been an excellent service for me that's why I am a repeated customer and have recommended others to using their service.

Refused to refund me or bring me to my destination because I had already “had taken the ride” when I was clearly standing right in front of them. I will say, the two women who helped me were absolutely wonderful, understanding and kind, but they’re dispatch and customer service reps they had to contact were unbelievably rude.

When booking the shuttle online DO NOT fall for leaving a tip online because there’s a sign posted inside the van that clearly states “Tips not included in the fare,” so I wound up paying a double tip because I didn’t want to embarrass either the driver or me. What a scam!

Never use this card in a long time (0 balance) and the only two places it was used was at the Town and Country dump hotel for my room and this shuttle. When I turned off plane mode after landing, I got a text with clear directions on what to do and where to go. By the time we got to the pickup, the shuttle was there after just 30 seconds...something we knew because their website had a map showing in real time the shuttle coming. Driver did a superb job and was very friendly. Would highly recommend using them!

But coming home at 11:30 PM was terrible since we were told there were no more shuttles available, even though we had made a reservation. The representative had to search around at that time of night to try to find another driver for us from another company. He did find one but what would have happened if he hadn't at that time of night. We didn't need that stress- has made us look for another company next time. SuperShuttle needs to hire more drivers.

Thanks to Advanced shuttle that had shuttle available at cheaper price with excellent service. Never use super shuttle again.

My only hiccup was that I missed the counter at first because there was no direct sign to show the location. I think this was not as noticeable because I arrived at night. I would give SuperShuttle 4 & 1/2 stars!

I like the communication via text and the drivers calling which is reassuring. Their app let's you track their drivers. Drivers were friendly and only one stop to the airport. Drivers showed up on time. The cost is reasonable for a shuttle service. I have used them before and it has been reliable. I will use them again.

Making a reservation was easy, we got a good price because of AAA discount, and there were no issues. After our flight was delayed for over an hour, the driver picked us up within 10 minutes and took us home in the middle of the night. Couldn't be happier. If I had one comment for improvement, it would be difficulty trying to reach a rep over the phone. But there really wasn't a need since everything worked out well.

I book a no stop ride for my grandson 3years old and myself. now i am on a mad scramble to get a ride to the airport on a weekday and everyone i know is at work. so i used uber. should have use them to start with. I have used not reliable super shuttle when i was a resident of poway. $20.00 a person, but i since move out and i still used them but the service was not what it used to be. not a customer anymore

We had a reservation to be picked up from the San Diego airport when we arrived and then taken back when we were leaving. They were almost an hour late the first time. Customer service told us they were short on vans. (You’d think that a company that speciIalizes in picking people up in vans would, well, have vans available, especially for customers who arranged with them ahead of time.) I’m writing this as we are still waiting for our ride back to the airport, which was supposed to pick us up over half an hour ago. We are worried we may miss our flight because they are unacceptably late despite having a set pickup time. Be warned — if you call the customer service line, expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes — very unhelpful when you are literally on the street waiting for them.

I booked a shuttle to take me to the airport. I waited outside until after my scheduled pick up time, constantly checking the app to see where my shuttle was. I received multiple notices that a shuttle had been assigned to me (several different shuttle numbers) and finally got a call saying that there was no available shuttle to pick me up and I would have to find my own way to the airport. No offer to call me a can. No offer to find me another alternative. Not even a discount on a future trip. The best they could offer was that they would refund my fare (not really generous considering they were leaving me stranded. I did get to the airport and made my flight, but not really planning on using SuperShuttle again.

The morning of a trip to the airport, Super Shuttle called FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED PICK-UP TIME to let us know they had no driver and couldn't help us. This is not the first time we've had problems with Super Shuttle: about a year ago, they picked us up for a ride to the airport very early in the morning, and our driver NODDED OFF AT THE WHEEL while we were on the highway. We will never use these folks again - I urge you to do the same.

When I arrived the gentleman at the curbside desk insisted I didn’t need the accessible van that I had reserved and instead that I ride in another van that was going to my hotel already. The picture below shows how far they expected me to jump on one leg unassisted no less to get into their van. When I refused because I simply couldn’t do it without further harming myself I was heckled by another van driver. Eventually they conceded to allowing me on the accessible van that I initially preplanned and booked, but it was a humiliating experience. I do not recommend using this service especially if you are handicapped in any way.

After waiting 15 mins to pull off the driver then picked up 4 other passengers and then dropped them off all around san diego over the course of an hour then pulls over at a taxi and tells us we need to get in taxi to get home!!! Wasted over an hour of my time then drops me off at a taxi!!! Never again, lesson learned, stick with uber, don't waste your precious time with these people.

So when i reached the spot there was no shuttle to take me. I went to the spot and i did meet the supervisor, who called their counterpart and told them about the screw up. she manage to talk to the next available driver and ask him to take me to Carlsbad trip. Then it was smooth. Hats off to Super shuttle. I would always use them.

This is what I call outstanding customer service .I wish all the business I deal with would be just as half as good as Super Shuttle . I will never use any other company again thanks for you five star business

They didn't stop to see if me or my car were okay, and sped away at the next light while I pulled over. If that wasn't bad enough, I tried to reach out to the company only to find out they have no system for evaluating driver safety concerns. There wasn't too much damage to my car but I at least wanted to know the driver could go under review to ensure this practice isn't regular and that this accident/negligence is not tolerated. Instead I reported the incident and received an email basically saying there was no way of proving what I said ever happened. They did not apologize, attempt to correct the situation or even dig deeper into what happened. It seems online reviews are the only place this company offers customer service. So in addition to unsafe driving they also have horrible brand management. Maybe this review will serve to warn others: this company does not care about you, your safety or those around you.

I learned the hard way not to make roundtrip reservations with this company. In my experience, its ok to rely on them to take you to the airport in the early morning when there is greater demand for their services, thus vans will be available during that time period. However, if you are arriving back into San Diego airport in the middle of the afternoon, or later in the evening, chances are they will not have a van for you, even if you make a reservation well in advance. reservation well in advance.

I called the customer service and they charged me more because they said the address format I put was wrong. The correct location would cost more. So the shuttle never came, they charged me more money, and it's too late to book a new shuttle.

(I will be contacting the company for his name and will update if possible.) If I could give no stars, I probably would. But I have to have at least one, and I suppose that would be for the worker named William at the booth, who booked our shuttle. He was easy to speak with and direct, so I found no problem initially. As he told me it would take about 20 mins for the next shuttle to arrive, I asked if I'd make it on time to the bathroom. When he said it's fine, I went. Only to meet an irritable, passive aggressive driver who kept sighing and cursing under his breath because I apparently, was late. I detailed the situation to him, because I cannot handle passive aggressiveness and such temper from some stranger - an older, white male at that when I'm just a small Asian female. He drove back around because he lost his other passengers as he was already late in the first place, kept slamming the doors, came back in, and drove a circle again. Mind you, this was 11:30pm at night and I will be returning home to a dead quiet neighborhood. Who knows what he would have done if my parents (who know little English) and I were the only ones to be dropped off and he was still in a terrible mood. By the second time he circled back, I got right off that car and told his coworker that I absolutely did not feel safe in his car, and we would be taking another ride service. We didn't call a Lyft or Uber initially because of the ride surge that made them about $30-40 more than the shuttle right after getting off the plane, but by the time we got off that shuttle, the pricing already dropped. I highly recommend calling a Lyft or Uber (we called Lyft) regardless of whether you have to pay more, or wait a little longer for the surge to drop. Pay a little more money to be safe returning home. I did not catch the driver's name, but he was driving a shuttle at 11:30pm on Jan 1st, 2018 with the car license plate of 41143M1. Once we asked to get off, he kept arguing with my dad that he wanted a receipt back because we weren't taking the service, which he didn't give us in the first place. Only when I asked William to step in did the situation get mediated. I have a feeling that given his attitude, if he was displeased with anything else once we got home, we probably would have had to call the police.

After getting in Van #726 (saqik) and arriving at Hyatt Manchester Hotel the driver refused to give us our luggage until we paid him cash. He said it was $13 per person. So we had already paid and i showed him. And he still insisted on getting cash out of us. I Should have Taken UBER ! Use UBER and don't fall for these Traps! Very Upset!

To ask for a ride home. When I arrived at my house I asked for a receipt. And the driver had me put in my e-mail address. And said my receipt would be e-mailed to me. Well I waited a day and no receipt. I called and was told. I had to go to the website. And use the customer service there to ask about getting a receipt. 10/29 1'st e-mail ticket # 209294. 2nd e-mail 11/1 ticket # 211342. There has been no response (except for the ticket #'s). How long does it take to get a receipt? My AMEX receipt isn't good enough. It only show's what is paid. My company doesn't pay for tip. That comes out of my pocket. So am AMEX receipt for $ 61.00. I say that is SuperShuttles charge. They say how do we know. The fare might have been $11.00 and you gave a $ 50.00 tip. And I say the fare was $ 61.00 and I gave a $ 12.00 cash tip. I can't submit a partial expense report. So my AMEX bill is here. And I owe $ 2,272.09 (air fare and hotel) . So the receipt is very important and it's just not $ 61.00. Because I owe all the $2000.00 Plus . Till I can get my report filed and paid by my company. So was this my last ride using SuperShuttle ? Or will I get my receipt? Way to long response from customer service. Hire more people or fire some for not doing their job. Yes I am not happy.
Posted by Randol Marshall on 07 November 17 on GoogleI booked the schuttle on trip advisor, and when I got to the airport, I was not on their list, so we had to figure out what happen before I could get in the schuttle. Then I've waited for 15 minutes in the schuttle for the driver to try to enter my drive in their new computer system... Whatever the reason was, I should have called a cab, because when we finally left the terminal, we picked up 2 other people from the other terminal. Those 2 people were disapointed as well, so I had to wait AGAIN, about 10 minutes for the driver to figure out what was their issue. Driver was good, though, I think that the computer system thing is not his fault...

Though app is deceiving convenient, once I "checked in", it took 15 min for the shuttle to pick me up from terminal 1 after waiting for a pick up in terminal 2... then it proceeded BACK to terminal 1 to pick up a passenger. So, 45 min for a ride that some other ride service could have done oin less than 15 min. Would not recommend this company until it understands that their convenience, inconveniences the customer.

He purposely took side streets instead of freeway because he knew his van was having issues. When he did get on the freeway the van broke down and we had to take an Uber to the airport. We ended up missing our flight and it took them over two months to resolve our case. Very unreliable and terrible customer service.

I got a text saying theyd be there in 9 minutes and I wasnt ready so I had to rush around and it made it hard to say all the goodbyes. Not a huge deal, just not super great either.
Posted by Grant on 16 August 17 on GoogleWhile I was booking my ride I have mentioned that I will be carrying 4 bags (2checked and 2 carry on) and the final price was $19. Now when I reach the pickup point, the driver says that only 3 bags are allowed and I have to pay for the 4th bag. I told him that when I have put 4bags while reserving the shuttle it dint say that to me. Next I went and spoke to the representative near the supershuttle booth, this person also started saying something similar but when I showed him my reservation he tried to open his rate book and it clearly mentioned that 2 checked bags and 2 carry on bags are included, but the representative ignored to understand and said that it's the driver's wish to charge. And the driver is like I will allow you for this time. He reacted as if he is doing me a favour. Please know your terms and keep your drivers updated.

The guy (Mr. William) told me I could either buy tickets from him or from a driver (who is standing by him), as if the driver works for supper shuttle. When I ask the price, the driver told me it's $24 one way. I realized he doesn't work for supershuttle. I then turned back to mr. William and requested yo buy tickets from supershuttle. He said its $14, when I asked him why it said on the website the from was $12, he said the price increased, I asked him if he's sure, he said $12 is ok. I got on supershuttle bus to hotel without. My issue but it doesn't feel good for me. Williams behaviors.

Hopefully their drivers will get more training so they can improve their communication skills, especially when time is critical.

So easy to book and pay online. I really don't know why people posting here had problems. I have nothing but praise for this service.
Posted by david yost on 18 April 17 on GoogleI booked super shuttle for the ride from airport to hotel. Here everything was fine although it was in the middle of the night. Because of this good experience I also booked it for the ride from hotel back to airport. However, shuttle didn't show up in time, the car couldn't be located via the function on the homepage. Calling was not only expensive (called from my German mobile) but also not successful. Thanks to the great uber system that I arrived more or less in time at the airport. So if you don't want to get into trouble, don't use it if you want to go back to the airport.
