NEVER book with SuperShuttle! Even though I reserved my airport transfer in advance and called the morning of to confirm my ride, SuperShuttle cancelled on me 1 hour before I was supposed to leave for the airport. This left me scrambling to find another ride as it was too late to reserve a shuttle with another company. SuperShuttle made absolutely no effort to rectify the situation. If you want a reliable ride to the airport don’t book with them!!

I booked a round trip with super shuttle to take me to the airport and back home when I returned. the shuttle to the airport randomly canceled on me the morning of my flight so I scrambled to find another way there. My returning flight was delayed by an hour. The minute I landed, I got a call from super shuttle saying that my driver was already there. I let them know my flight came in later than expected, so they said that they would have the driver come back in about 30 minutes to give me time to unload, get my bags, etc. Over 30 minutes later, while I have been waiting at ground transportation, I get a call from them saying that the driver’s “van spun out on the road” and is no longer able to get me. They say they’ll call me back once they know when they’ll get me. Another 20 minutes pass and they finally let me know that there are no drivers on the road (I had a late flight) and that the best they can do is call a partner service to come get me in about another 45 minutes. I let them know that it wouldn’t be necessary, they need to refund me, and that I’ll find my own way back (now it’s 3 AM). The man I was speaking to on the phone was very apologetic, understanding, and willing to help me. These may have been two freak accidents, but this just makes the service seem unreliable to me. This was my first time trying it, and I will not use or recommend the service to anyone.

A 30 minute drive took over one hour and the driver was asking ME to put addresses into Google Maps to determine which dropoff site was closest. I ended up getting out after one hour and walking to my destination point as this was faster than the shuttle. Would not recommend to a friend.

We tried to work with Super Shuttle but after a couple of weeks work with them we haven't received any of our agreed payments. Be aware that i already have contacted with others who have the same problem. I highly recommend to be very careful with this company.

Was my first visit to USA, was travelling by myself and didn't land until late at night so wanted to feel certain I had made sound arrangements to travel into New York. In fact I was held up by an hour in baggage reclaim area so was very anxious I'd missed my shuttle, but once through to the arrivals area I was able to take a later shuttle at no extra cost so was very grateful and relieved. Two tips, book shuttle for an hour after arrival to allow for hold ups, and watch out for magnificent first view of Manhattan when driving from JFK to New York at night.

Took us another 2 1/2 hours to then get to our hotel, which we still had to walk a block to get to. Also, when passengers got off he just asked which bag is yours and some lady got the wrong bag. Luckily the passenger inside the van was like, "that looks like our bag" and then questioned the driver to see about it. He did the effort but didn't seem happy about it and then had to get the other gal back to switch the bags. Pickup TO airport was flawless. They showed up just when they said they would. Driver was friendly. Had no issues. I would try the other shuttle company if I ever go back.

If he just greeted us and expressed to us that we need to hurry as other passengers were waiting it would have been a better experience. He at least drove well and knows his way in Manhattan with all the traffic, so will give him that as a bonus. If you saving money this is the way to go, else get a private transfer

We waited an hour before finally leaving and getting a Lyft. They called after we had already left the airport to tell us they were on the way. That was after an hour waiting, and receiving multiple text messages that our cars were changing.

Was able to track my driver and send him a message to find out his ETA with the APP. Drivers were helpful and courteous. I will definitely use the SuperShuttle wherever it is available.

The drivers were excellent: I marvel at anyone who can negotiate the city traffic that skillfully. Finally, the price was very reasonable, better than for any other service I might have chosen. We were denied pickup for some odd reason but then they were able to drop us off. Long story short the one time we did use them the driver was on time very helpful and safe. Van was clean and overall was pleased.

I got a call from him when I was going through customs and he was waiting for me as soon I emerged from the terminal. Very friendly. It was nice to have a friendly voice on the phone after traveling 26 hours! Not having to wait for pickup was a huge plus. They keep in touch with you when you land so in my case there was no standing around. They were right there!

The vehicles were clean & comfortable. On the return journey to JFK the traffic was not as bad expect in Manhattan which again is to be expected. I loved being able to track the driver so I wasn’t waiting around on the cold. All in all a great service & I would recommend to friends & family!!

I called the 1800 and the girl said to me that he left, i ask why?? her response was that he left and now i need to get me another ride to get to my destination, because they didn't have no shuttle for me at this time. So i had to grab a taxi.. so my rate i give them 0-

All over his lost cellphone. TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!! While on vacation with nearly 20 family members (children included), we were awaiting our pick up to the airport after 5 fun filled days. The worst was yet to come, after quickly being transported to the Airport our group collected about $30 for a tip. Mind you a private Taxi to airport is only $45. You would think you might be treated with a shred of decency, he seemed happy with the tip. After being given our bags by the Super Shuttle Driver, he accused my family of stealing his Work & Personal Cellphones including a Bluethooth speaker, while we are on line to drop our luggage. My father-in-law who rode in the front was first accused, then when we explained that we would have no reason to take his personal belongings. The Shuttle driver proceed to accuse our children of taking his phones, as a appalled as I was of the driver, the Mexican Federal police were contacted and they patted down and search each one of our bags in search of 2 Mexican Cellphones. After such humiliation of myself and my in-laws in their 60's along with children from 10 to 3 years old, it left a lasting impression on how American tourist are now being treated in this country. Super shuttle may not care about the long list of negative reviews, however this experience will never allow me to consider a Mexican vacation EVER. Our family between Flights, Resort, and Excursions probably spent close to $25,000. Thanks, I'm gonna enjoy other Caribbean hot spots where a $30 tip doesn't get me searched by the Federales.

Kevin made up for the terrible experience we had when we arrived. The driver was rude to many passengers, handed our baggage carelessly. I shared he was 1st impression he didn’t care. We arrived at LaGuardia airport expecting a shuttle to be there or in route to pick us up, after a long day of travel we had the airport service call to find out where our shuttle was. We were told our shuttle was more than 45 min out??? On top of that when the airport service put in our destination the fees came up on their computer as $21.78 I have a photo of this) ..... we paid $43 with a DISCOUNT through the NY pass... Super Shuttle IS A RIP OFF! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! We chose to use Lyft in lieu of waiting the 45 min we were at our hotel in less than 15 min with a fee of under $25. BIG MISTAKE trusting the New York Pass recommendation I will post this review EVERYWHERE I can to prevent any one else makin this same mistake!

Their reservation process was seamless and easy - simple. Pickup from home to airport was timely and the driver was great (Kevin). Got us to the airport on time for check-in and flight (International). The return trip almost went sideways when it was discovered I had reserved airport pickup a day early. I guess i wasn't paying close enough attention to my return flight information. When I arrived (the next day), Super Shuttle could've easily told me the reservation was cancelled and that I would have to make a new reservation (after all, it was my mistake) but, they didn't. They dispatched a driver right over to pick us up and we were able to get home at no additional cost. THANK YOU!!! I'll have to pay closer attention to this in the future though this vacation took a lot of planning and there was a lot going on. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Super Shuttle to friends needing airport ground transportation for their travels and I wouldn't hesitate to call upon them again personally for my future travel plans. Very accommodating, polite, courteous, there's no other words I could use to describe the level of service they provided.

I liked that there was an option to reduce the price by opting for a share ride. After I completed my transaction I was provided with a confirmation number, time of pick-up, and location. I picked what time and location would work best for me, and provided my flight number. The day prior to and of the date of pick-up (today) I received texts with reminders and further information. About an hour before my pick-up time I received a text with information on my shuttle including: the vehicle number and a link to track the shuttle. The link also provided the drivers name, his picture, and contact information. I was able to send my driver (Pavel) a message through the link, so I gave him a heads up on who he should look for. I was able to track his vehicle on GPS, which helped me determine which direction he would be arriving from. He arrived about 6mins earlier than scheduled, which was anticipated because of the texts I received updating me on his arrival. I also planned to arrive 15mins before my scheduled time anyway. Pavel was friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. Very easy and convenient way to travel from Penn Station to JFK. I would definitely use Supershuttle again!

I called the office to chase was told he was 2 minutes away. 20 minutes later no driver. Called again and some 5 minutes later he arrived. Upon arrival no apology just shouted at me asking why I'm calling the office and checking on him, its new york i should know better... Remember this taxi was 1 hour late and going to the airport, anyone would be worried. No compassion. Wont use again not worth the worry before a flight.

Punctuality is not an option... and, although I booked and paid for a private van, including even the tip, the driver made us pay the toll!!! Don't these people know when there is a toll to pay???? Why don't they clearly write on the website (and on confirmation of reservation) that additional fees may apply???? Additionally, the driver said he paid by ezpass, then we do not even know how much he paid neither if he actually paid for it!!!! I still feel like the driver stole my money. I took other companies' shuttles in the past for the same trip and they were much more efficient and drivers were friendly and polite. I will definitely avoid to book a trip from supershuttle again.

Staff was super uncomfortable so avoided keeping us informed. There were 12 of us. A few gave up and ubered it. Then shuttle comes and doesn’t have room for the seven remaining. We all get on anyway. One woman sits on husband’s lap. Our luggage is piled high in back of van. When dropped off, the driver carelessly opens the door and my suitcase flies out and onto the ground. About 5 feet. Laptop inside. Never use these people unless a cab or Uber is way out of your budget and you have hours to waste. Also must have luggage you want dented and scraped.

And now on my return trip I have been on the shuttle for over 2 hours and still one hour to go and risking to lose my flight. If I was leaving now from my original destination I would be closer than where I am now. Left 5.5h before my flight considering traffic over a 45 min drive and risking to lose a flight is crazy and unacceptable. Never ever again.

Because they pick their own time to pick you up after informing them of your flight departure time, my husband and son missed heir flights. And I arrived to the airport at 6:45pm after being picked up at 3:50pm for a 7:30 flight from NY to CA. (Now my luggage will not arrive until the following day due to late check in)This company is HORRIBLE!!! I found out about this company on Groupon and felt comfortable enough with the reviews that I gave them a shot. The driver as unprofessional and complained that he didn’t like picking up Groupon customers, and drove without any sense of urgency. I’ve taken other shuttles before but this by far has to be THEE WORST!
Posted by Candace Sanders on 24 May 18 on GoogleBooked your service 3 days before coming to new York. when i arrived i followed your instructions and called from the customer care center. at that point I was told that my reservation was incorrect and that the tranporation was for a different hotel even though my email confirmation had the correct information. at that point i continued to ask when to expect my shuttle. i was told min 1 hour. 7 people traveling to new york who planned ahead to book a shuttle met with "all our drivers are busy!" ridiculous. at that point i questioned the attendant again and i was told thats it and she hung up. ended up taking 2 taxis for 60% of your fair. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

After phoning the company to confirm our pick up they had no record of any trips or our booking and the same thing happened to another couple at our hotel using the same service. We had to make another booking therefore our ref numbers had changed, when we tried explaining this to the driver (Mohammad Z) who was EXTREMELY rude, he beated his chest and shouted in face "I AM THE COMPANY".... I promise you people this actually happened. He also started shouting at my wife and it was at that point i told him to watch his mouth. While i was pulling the cases to the van he purposely shut the door on me. After each drop off he was getting the cases out of the van and just causally throwing other cases back in, the van was not what you'd expect to be road safe from a company like this along with the engine light on. (of course by now and after the earlier issues i was being eagle eyed), but the dangerous driving in the rain was the final straw and this van included two pregnant women, one being my wife and one of them was heavily pregnant. This is a very unprofessional company and you'd be much better off walking from the airport than giving them your money.

It is a good alternative to public transportation, especially if you are travelling alone, early in the morning and with checked bags. You'll get a text message with a vehicle locator that shows you where your driver is in the map, and all the stops it will make; you also receive another text message 5 min before pick-up. From the airport, you receive a check-in link upon landing so you can indicate when you are ready to be picked-up (no worries if your flight is delayed or immigration has long lines; however, this flexibility means that they will assign a vehicle to you only when you are ready, so it may take about 30 min from check-in to pick-up)

We would've missed our flight if I had actually used our CORRECT flight out time. Driver Amina (something like that) was 45 minutes late after the extended window we got from dispatch. The van was full. We had to squeeze to the very back "CARRYING OUR OWN luggage, lifting our luggage over other passengers heads" to get to the rear. THEN had to find room for our luggage ourselves. Meanwhile driving did or said NOTHING. Of course during drop off at the airport we had the exact experience with the driver (NO ASSISTANCE AT ALL) Gratuity was added to my card when we scheduled/booked for pick up or she would not have received a 20% tip. WORST experience ever.
Posted by Kimberly Douglas on 21 December 17 on GoogleWe had a wonderful experience with the Super Shuttle on our pickup from LaGuardia Wednesday November 29th and returning back on Sunday November 3rd. We did have to wait for an hour at airport for pickup but our driver was polite, informative and would not drive off until all passengers were buckled up. We received text messages to keep us updated on pickup from and to airport. We were able to track our driver's route via GPS. We will use the Super Shuttle again.
Posted by Kimbra Heslip on 21 December 17 on GoogleAWFUL! do not book with super shuttle. i made a reservation a week before my flight out of ewr. my pick up window was 2:05 to 2:20. i received a notification that my ride was on the way at 2:00 , but when i opened the app to track it there was no route - no driver. i wait , and wait , and wait. finally, at 2:30 i decided to give them a call. the first rep i got a hold of transferred me to dispatch and then the call was dropped. when i called back, i got transferred to another rep , then another. finally, the last rep told me “unfortunately, due to heavy traffic we cant pick you up. we’ll give you a full refund.” this wouldve have been nice to know an hour ago?! not to mention they didnt even offer to have another one of their car services to pick me up or have me walk somewhere to get another shuttle - they just left me stranded. i will never book with super shuttle again.

Then had to find room for our luggage ourselves. Gratuity was added when scheduled for pick up or she would not have received a 20% tip.

There were already 7 people in our van and the driver put our luggage on top of everyone else's. My husband's laptop backpack was on top. At our next stop, to pick up the 10th person, I heard the laptop bag fall when the driver opened the back door. I told my husband and he jumped out and went to the back. The driver said, "No, it didn't hit the ground. I caught it." We later found the laptop damaged and filed a report with Supershuttle upon arriving home. It has been a week, and no contact has been made to correct this situation.

I checked in at Super Shuttle which I had booked via Jayride. The van was full and we dropped off customers at their destinations along the way. I was the second to last drop off. When we get to my hotel I come to find out the driver GAVE SOMEOTHER CUSTOMER MY LUGGAGE!!!... WE HAD MADE SEVERAL STOPS!!! I REFUSED TO GET STAY AND LEAVE THE VAN. The driver said he ‘thought’ he knew where potentially the mistake was made… We proceeded to make the last drop off of customers and there was a piece of luggage left behind, assuming that this was the ‘mistake’ switch of luggage (ALTHOUGH MY SUITCASE WAS BULKY LARGE BLACK and the left behind suitcase was a SLIM ORANGE CARRY-ON.) THE DRIVER HAD THE AUDACITY TO PICK UP NEW CUSTOMERS…. We go to the hotel where the driver believed the mistake was made 15 BLOCKS from my drop off location… we get to that hotel the driver with the left behind luggage at hand and I go to the Hotel Reception. He speaks with the receptionist, NEITHER THE DRIVER or RECEPTIONIST, are disclose to me the Potential customers name to me. The receptionist tries to contact guest/customer but they/he/she has apparently left their room. THE DRIVER PROCEEDS TO LEAVE ME WITH THE LEFT BEHIND OTHER CUSTOMERS LUGGAGE IN THE RECEPTION… NO WORD OR INDICATION THAT HE WAS DOING THIS… I WAS LIVID!!! I had many valuables in my luggage but the one of most concern is …. MY INSULIN I AM DIABETIC IT WAS IN MY LUGGAGE!!!!... The hotel was also astounded that the Driver dare leave. They were as helpful as they could. BY THIS TIME ITS 5PM…. I waited at Reception 2HOURS hoping the guest(s) would return…. Bare in mind that there was a possibility my luggage was not with these guests. OF COURSE DURING THIS TIME I CALLED REACHED OUT TO SUPER SHUTTLE … Only to get hung up on twice…. Play the transfer the call around to different folks until I got placed on hold for 30mins…. The nice receptionist, recommended I head to my hotel and that she would do her best to get a hold of the guest upon their return. It was 7PM at this time…. I PAID $25 Dollars to take a cab to my hotel …. I reached out to SUPER SHUTTLE AGAIN ONLY TO GET NO WHERE…they told me I had to contact JAYRIDE… JAYRIDE HAS NO AVAILABLE TELEPHONE TO CONTACT….. I end up having to contact support via a CHAT on the JAYRIDE… THEY DO NOTHING… THEY say the most they can do is refund my ticket, and that they have nothing to do with the service that they are only a comparison site…. NO APOLOGY … NOTHING!!! SCREW ME…. SCREW MY SUITCASE GETTING LOST… SCREW MY MEDICATION… Suggest I should contact Super Shuttle. SO MUCH FOR THEIR GUARANTEED CUSTOMER SATIFACTION!!! AT THIS TIME IT IS 8:50PM… I AM ON BACK ON THE PHONE WITH THE SUPER SHUTTLE…. THEY SAY THEY WILL REACH OUT TO THE HOTEL…. I GET PLACED ON HOLD ONLY TO GET DROPPED AGAIN…. At 10:30 PM the Receptionist at the other hotel where my luggage is at contacts me... confirms that her guest has my luggage, and sends my luggage to my hotel and picks up the luggage I was left with today. 8HOURS OF HELL FROM TAKING YOUR SERVICE!!!! Do you think there was a follow up form JayRide or SuperShuttle the following day concerned about the issue? Seeing if it was resolved? A refund? A reach out to personally apologize for their mistake? NO ALL I GOT WAS THIS AUTOMATED MESSAGE ASKING FOR ME TO RATE THEIR SERVICE!!!! I AM WILL BE GOING OUT OF MY WAY TO RATE JAYRIDE AND SUPER SHUTTLE ON ALL POSSIBLE RATING SITES!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICES!!! YOU ARE LUCKY I WAS ABLE TO GET A HOLD OF MY INSULIN IN TIME!

Posted by Youmi Kim on 16 November 17 on GoogleI would not recommend this company to anyone....They ask for your flight number and arrival time, when I arrived at the airport I was told it would be a 45 minute wait (the company does not provide any place to sit while waiting)...after 45 minutes of standing I approached the customer service attendant who then called the driver again. I was then told he was stuck in traffic due to an accident and it would be another 20 minutes. I approached the attendant yet again after standing another 20 minutes and was told it would be another 10 minutes. During the entire time other shuttle services and uber/lyft drivers were arriving to pick up passengers -it was only this company that was having difficulty getting to the airport. I then decided on Uber and he arrived in exactly 5 minutes! After discussing the experiences with my coworkers I learned that this company used the same excuse with them.

On arrival, on time, after waiting 20 minutes I went to welcome desk they called SUPERSHUTTLE. A guy called David answered and I asked what time the van would arrive he said and I quote " we don't have time to wait for you its a shuttle" with that I said I was on time and had a booking. He then said it would be a hour to get from NYC to Newark airport. after 3 more calls it turned up one and a half hours late. AGAIN I am confined to a wheelchair. The staff at Newark were embarrassed by the treatment I got from SUPERSHUTTLE. I have paid for the return trip but Not a snowflake chance in hell will I use. this company.

Called and told Zane Webster would call back, he did not, when I called him he mumbled he was calling the airport to see what flight it was on. He said he didn't know for a fact or believe they did anything wrong and that they could at best refund me one way for my trip but they aren't responsible for damage. Their paperwork states they are, but it was as simple as him saying it won't happen. He lied about how he could refund the trip maybe by check and then hung up on me. While the driver and service were just fine, don't expect honesty or decency if you have a problem. According to Zane, it is a small operation and there is not a single other person you can address a problem to. This is clearly a business that does not own up to a mistake or care about making an issue right because some poor sucker walks up to their counter every few minutes and they will keep getting business no matter how poorly they handle customer issues. Please read the other reviews- I wish I would have.

When I took a taxi into the city and got into my hotel room I called the company for a refund. The representative that I spoke to was not surprised that the shuttle didn't pick me up, and agreed that this was an ongoing problem. They only refunded half of what I paid and I am now disputing it with my credit card. This was at LGA.

Had to wait 30 min for the shuttle then because the driver had just us 2 he started driving around the airport and stopping in the road and running out and collecting people. After about an hour he had filled up the van then we finally left the airport. Then it took a further 2 hours to get to the hotel. Driver was rude and talking on his phone and using his I pad whilst driving. Absolutely appalling experience and I wish I had never pre paid for this

I was worried about the pick up being on time after reading all the reviews, but it wasn't an issue at all (on a Tuesday afternoon). The shuttle was actually at our hotel a few minutes early. These drivers are respectful "down to business" people and strive to stay on time, so they expect that customers do THEIR part to make that happen too.

We were in the car, packed with a lot of people, and reached our destination after maybe 3!! hours. We paid the driver and he told us to call the number on the ticket to get our ride back to JFK. After a lot of hustle and bustle to arrange our return to JFK and changing the hour they would pick us up. The driver arrived 20min late and told us we had to pay again. We refused and asked our luggage back to take a yellow cab. He gave us serious attitude and made a fool out of us, because we thought it was a return ticket for that price!?! He was very rude, had a very bad attitude and I'm happy we took a cab. It took us 45min and costed only 11 dollars more!! I just felt lied to. I understand if it is one way, but everyone before acted like it was a return ticket. The guy at the desk at JFK specifically said so. One good advice: STAY AWAY!!!!!

I received a reminder text the day before and a text the morning of with a link to track the driver, which included the driver's name and picture. I loved this aspect of the service! Everything went smoothly. The driver was on time, and the van was clean. The driver told us what route he was going to take and how long it would possibly take to get to the airport. He was extremely courteous and helpful (I even gave him an extra tip from the one I added when I booked online). I am glad I left the hassle of getting back to the airport on a busy Monday morning to Super Shuttle. The price is reasonable, and I would definitely use this service again!

Terrible service: the employees are very rude -- hung up the phone on me twice. When I asked for a name she put sent my call to voicemail!! I waited for my ride to the airport to be told the driver came by but left without me! Don't waste your time, and miss your flight. I ended calling Uber after I couldn't get picked up. Piece of mind.

The prices increase every year I've gone for 8 years. Not only did the shuttle arrive 20 min late, the driver had my family, which included my 70 year old father, walk 3 blocks, carrying our own bags to a different p/u. His response was he was trying to avoid traffic. This also happened to other passengers. When I called to complain, the manager pretty much said the same thing the driver said. Won't get me next time, up 2 hrs early just to wait AND get picked up at ANOTHER hotel I wasn't staying. Besides, the $2 bus was way cheaper. And I should've listened to a friend who paid $15/pp for a cab.

When the lady was told we only want one way she told us it was already processed, refund would take 5 days to process. We were then required to pay the one way fare. One weeks later money has not been returned to my credit card. Sent email to General Manager of company, as per their link, no response. Sent another email to customer service. No response.
