Did you know? Greater Fort Lauderdale, right in the center of the Gold Coast, stretches along 23 miles of the Atlantic Ocean, midway between Miami and Palm Beach. Shuttlefare.com services FLL and over 50 other cities with Blue Van, Supershuttle, and airport shuttle reservations.
The worst shuttle company I have ever used. If I could give them zero stars I would. I booked a transfer for 6 people. Had to call 4 times. Twice, the phone was put down on me. Had to wait over an hour & the driver who eventually picked us up was the same driver who had claimed he wasn't there for us an hour previously. Although I eventually received a small refund, I consider it inadequate & complaints to Customer Service (what a misnomer that is!) are mostly ignored.
Posted by Julie Hadfield on 03 January 19 on GoogleHad to get car rental for a day after waiting for “friendly” ride for over an hour.
Posted by Yelena Gutierrez on 20 May 18 on GoogleOld van, dirty windows, holes in the seats. Loaded our own luggage. Driver is in the "Express" lanes, which are 65mph lanes, doing 50 in the left lane. Vehicles passing on the right. ... And I think there may be an empty beer bottle in the driver's cup holder. We'll never use them again.
Posted by Tim McAllister on 26 April 18 on GoogleMy rating is based mainly on Supershuttles "customer non-service" when a problem occurs. We recently scheduled five trips with Supershuttle for a Florida vacation/cruise. Four of these were good or OK. On one the driver did not pick us up at our hotel for a ride to the airport. This was a pickup we scheduled almost two months in advance. Supershuttle billed our credit card at that time. We were waiting in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before our pickup time. Never received the text messages indicating our ride was on its way or had arrived. It appears the driver showed up and picked up people who were waiting outside and then didn't adequately verify their id. A phone call, 20 minutes after the scheduled arrival time, to their customer service resulted in a response that another van would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, another phone call got us transfer to their dispatcher. He called the original driver who said he had picked us up after checking ids (??????). We declined an offer to send another van in another 15 to 20 minutes and scheduled a ride with Uber that arrived in 9 minutes and charged $10 less than Supershuttle was charging. After I got home, I have been trying to contact Supershuttles's customer service for a refund. After considerable red-tape and checking reviews of their customer service process, I just disputed the bill with our credit card company. They issued an immediate credit and now they can deal with Supershuttle.
Posted by Walt Mckinnon on 13 April 18 on Google0 stars. Arrived in Fort Lauderdale, and recieved my text from Super Shuttle to check in. I followed the instructions, checked in, and proceeded to the commercial pickup Island between terminals 2 and 3 per the instructions. I watched the vehcicle come through the airport and leave on the tracker app without picking us up. I then called SuperShuttle customer service and they advised to wait at the "Ride Share" area between terminals 2 and 3. The ride share area is not located between terminals 2 and 3 and the instructions on the check in page lacked the words "ride share" entirety. It said "commercial vehicles island," which is a different location (where we waited). Turns out we needed to be at the other end, between terminals 1 and 2, nowhere near the location indicated. Fast forward 20 minites, the van arrives to pick up my colleague and I, and only one of us is on the driver's list. The driver refused to transport both of us depsite having room in the van, and showing him the reservation on my phone. He did not offer to help or resolve the issue. We finally gave up and grabbed a cab and will be asking for our money back.
Posted by Jim Davis on 25 February 18 on GoogleThe most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. Got picked up, he drove without headlights in the dark, then the van broke down part way to our destination and then he left us!! all 10 of us, including children, we had to find another shuttle service to come get us. He never even called his company to pick us up. This company doesn't even deserve one star but my review won't post unless I mark one.
Posted by Sherrie Easley on 19 January 18 on GoogleIs funny how the drivers never have an idea of how to get to any place, EVEN with the GPS on. The units are old, dirty and falling apart inside. Our driver (Lionel) could not stop complaining about his job and how he could get a better one at anytime. Funny thing, because he made us wait for 20 minutes at the airport, even after contacting the company the day before; he also almost missed 2 exits and steer the van hard to get back into the highway; seriously, this is rhe MOST crappy company ever...
Posted by Luiggi Carrera on 17 July 17 on GoogleTerrible service- booked a meet and greet and didn't get that- then got a black car and got some van shuttle. Then u have to go online to get an answer---- terrible horrible and way to start a vacation! DONT USE THEM ---- horrible
Posted by Stephen Rendek on 07 July 17 on GoogleHorrible! I scheduled pick up from airport at 4:40pm and they came for us at 5:40pm. Every time I called they told me the van was entering the airport as we were speaking. How big is the Fort Lauderdale that it took a vehicle one hour to get to the terminal? Never again with this company!!!
Posted by Ariel Farcic on 05 July 17 on GoogleI reserved and paid for a private car and they never showed up. I cant get a refund. They refuse to do anything over the phone, and they dont respond to any complaint forms or Emails. DO NOT USE THEM YOU WILL MISS YOUR FLIGHT LIKE I DID !!!!
Posted by James Mullen on 30 May 17 on GoogleChecked in via online app... was assigned a van ok... then watched our ride sit at a gas station for 10 minutes, then proceeded to drive away from the airport toward our destination hotel. I quickly checked to ensure I didn't mistype the requested direction (to/from), and I didn't... the app clearly knew where we were and that we wanted to go airport-to-hotel as we received directions on location to be picked up at the airport. Called the dispatcher who assigned another van to come pick us up. Good news is you can observe where your ride is... bad news is you may have a not so smart driver who will go to the drop off location instead of the pickup - get a cab, you'll be better off. Finally get picked up at the airport 30 minutes after check-in... older van, 342K miles with a few yellow dashboard lights illuminated... not a smooth ride from the driver (jerk and go constantly)... definitely not taking SuperShuttle again, cab will do (or even uber) while in Fort Lauderdale
