Shuttles

Go Airport Express is known for its affordable and convenient transportation services may it be to and from the airport or door-to-door transportation. You can find their shuttles outside the Baggage Claim area in the innermost lane of the lower level roadways of the domestic and international terminals. You can find them at the Door 3 in the lower level baggage claim area. Walk-ups are accepted upon availability so booking a reservation ahead of time is recommended to secure your seat in the shuttle.

Ride Apps
Ride Apps or TNCs are available at Chicago Midway International Airport. To book for their service, you can download their booking application on your phone or tablet or flat screen from the App Store if you’re using an Apple device and from Google Apps if you’re using an Android device.
NOTE: Upon booking a ride from their applications, do take note of the driver’s name, plate number, and vehicle type and color in person before entering the vehicle. Drivers are not allowed to solicit any cash as all payment should be made prepaid through the app.
Pickup location for rideshare services is on the ground or lower level, outside of the Baggage Claim area, Door 4.

Car Rentals are located at Lower Level Door #2, 5150 W. 55th Street. To get there, you can take the 24/7 shuttles which are scheduled to run every 15 minutes.

Limousines
What’s a more luxurious way of exploring the city than to get transported with limousines.
Upon arrival at the airport, you can find a list of pre-arranged limousine services posted near the Ground Transportation Information Booth located on the Baggage Claim level near carousel #4. You have to call the limousine company once you have collected your luggage from the baggage claim area. You will be provided with a license plate number, the description of the car, and which door number you’ll be meeting the driver.

Transit
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) offers convenient and affordable transit service to MDW from downtown. These trains are famously known in Chicago as the “L”.

Where can I locate the station at the airport?
You can find the station east of the airport terminal building at the Midway Transportation Center. Follow signs “CTA Trains” or “Trains to City” to get there. An orange line painted on the ground will lead you to the station.

You can pay with cash or credit - American Express, MasterCard, Discovery, and Visa are accepted. There are vending machines outside the station.
